The Shops at Kukuiula Presents the 2nd Annual Poipu Food & Wine Festival
The Shops at Kukuiula and Poipu Beach Resort Association’s 2nd Annual Poipu Food & Wine Festival runs through November 12.
Similar to last year’s inaugural event, this year’s festival supports the Culinary Arts Program at Kauai Community College. Culinary skills of Kauai’s premier chefs will be showcased through demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes and food tastings. Festival guests will also enjoy Hawaiian music provided by top island artists and receive gifts and prizes from local merchants, including a free signature cookbook.
“We are excited to continue the tradition begun at last year’s Poipu Food & Wine Festival,” said Stacie Chiba, senior property manager of The Shops at Kukuiula. “This festival highlights the unique variety of farm fresh ingredients, local flavors and culinary talent available to residents and visitors on the island of Kauai. She added, “Besides highlighting the skills of some of the island’s top chefs, our special events also provide financial support to the aspiring chefs enrolled in the KCC Culinary Arts program.”
